From short one-hour luncheon additions for local bar association meetings to half or full day presentations, the attorneys of Hanes & Schutz, LLC have a portfolio of Power Point assisted seminars for lawyers, artists, art gallery owners, engineers and marketing executives that either focus on one topic or combine instruction on the fundamentals and “must know” facts of copyright, trademark and patent law.

Hanes & Schutz has been a faculty presenter for Lorman Educational Services on the subjects of patents, copyrights and trademarks. Hanes & Schutz’s seminars have been approved for continuing legal education credits by the Colorado and New Mexico Supreme Courts.

A seminar can be custom designed to fit a particular audience or time constraint or can be selected from an existing presentation of either one, four or six hours. The Power Point slides highlight essential and important statutory sections of the particular law being presented and illustrate the emphasized concepts with pictorial references to prior cases and real life examples. The seminars address acquisition and maintenance of copyright, trademark and patent rights and introduce the fundamentals of avoiding and prosecuting infringement of those rights. The presentations also debunk the many myths and curbstone advisements that seem to permeate patent, copyright and trademark law.
